Have a Whale of a time with us in January! -- 1/18/2016

Winter whale watching is an enjoyable pastime on the Central Oregon Coast. Lincoln County offers spectacular vantage points to spot some of the migrating grey whales offshore. Winter on the Oregon Coast is also a wonderful time for storm watching. After the storms there are always a trove of treasures to be found on the area beaches. New tide pools form, and interesting shells and agates wash up for the beach combers’ delight. Make sure to bring your binoculars and prepare for mother nature to put on a show for you while in Lincoln City.

January also features special glass float drops for Finders Keepers! Every day through the month of January, Finders Keepers drops hand crafted glass art pieces for treasure hunters to find. Many of our guests frequently come back our lobby to show off their findings. Check back on our Facebook often to see their bounty.

Also happening on January 30th is the annual Mardi Gras Jambalaya Cook-Off. Whether looking for solace in nature’s beauty or wonderful community events. January is a wonderful time to visit us at the Inn at Wecoma and Lincoln City!
