It’s become a Lincoln City tradition every February – Antique Week! The week is so popular, it’s actually 10 days long – from February 7 to 17 this year.

Those long walks on the beach have their special charm in the winter. A dusting of snow this past week gave the shoreline a new look. Come down and enjoy a quiet beach - and after you return to your cozy Inn at Wecoma room, you can take the chill off in our inviting hot tub or sauna!

Lincoln City is a beautiful place to spend Thanksgiving. Several restaurants in town will be offering traditional Thanksgiving dinners.

Lincoln City’s Float Fairies are out and about, leaving treasures on the beach for anyone to find. Locally made glass floats are placed on the beach every day as a treat for visitors. Come take a look and try your luck.

Okay, okay … the eclipse won’t occur until 2017 but the Inn at Wecoma just received its first inquiry for rooms … and it came from Australia! (“We hope we’re not too late,” they said, as they asked for beds for 25 people!)

COME TO THE COAST IN NOVEMBER! -- 11/01/2013
Let's be frank: November at the coast tends to be pretty gray. The sun sets early in overcast skies, and rain gear is strongly recommended. But Oregonians like to play in the rain. Rowdy ocean waves can be a spectacular site for beachcombers, and who can say what might wash up on the beach. This is a great time for agate hunters and quiet walks.

COME TO THE COAST IN OCTOBER! -- 10/01/2013
October is a wonderful time to visit Lincoln City and the Oregon coast. The weather is usually mild, and there's still a lot of sun – but, hey, a little bit of rain won't hurt you either. In fact, if you're LUCKY enough to be here for a good storm, you can join some hardy stormwatchers at the beach to watch spectacular waves crashing into the shore.

Whale Watching Week Is Coming To Lincoln City, Oregon -- 12/8/2011
This year's whale watching week will begin on December 26th through January 1st. Every year, upwards of 150 volunteers will be posted from 10am – 1pm at official whale watching spots, where visitors have the best chance of seeing Pacific Grey Whales. Inn At Wecoma Suggests Drift Creek Falls Trail To All Travelers -- 07/19/2011
About a 12 mile drive outside of the center of Lincoln City, you'll find an amazing hiking trail called Drift Creek Falls. By far one of the Northwest favorite hiking trails on the coast, Drift Creek falls is a 3 mile roundtrip hike to a breathtaking 80 foot waterfall.

90 miles away from Portland, and a full hour away from the closest Macy's or Nordstrom's… one might not consider Lincoln City as a "Fashionista's Haven". But, they would be seriously wrong. With over 60 major brand name outlets, Tanger Outlet Mall in Lincoln City makes my 'top things to do' list.
