Beach
Just a few blocks away is seven miles of pristine beach where you can build a sand castle, fly a kite and be a kid again. Lincoln City is also host to the Finders Keepers Glass Float program (between October and May). You find it you keep it!

Historic Taft District
The Taft area of Lincoln City is host to SW 51 Street, where restaurants such as Mo's and Tikis are located. Also located in the Taft district is the Jennifer L. Sears Glass Float Art Studio. The foundry offers free glassblowing demonstrations and you can also blow your own glass float art.

Aquarium
The Oregon Coast Aquarium is located 25 miles south of Lincoln City in Newport. The Aquarium is considered to be one of the foremost coastal aquariums in the world, and features a creative mix of aquatic life in unique displays.

Hiking
Local area hiking trails are magnificent and beautifully maintained. Among these the Cascade Head Trail has a postcard view of the Salmon River estuary and the long beach that fronts Lincoln City. The Nature Conservancy owns 280 acres. Other recommended hikes include Drift Creek Falls. |

Traveling the Coast
Located within a quick drive from Lincoln City in either direction are several recommended stops. Yachats to the south is home to many unique rarities including the Devils Churn, Cape Perpetua Visitor Center, and the Cape Perpetua WWII lookout hut. The Devils Punch Bowl and Depoe Bay are located within a 30-minute drive from the Inn at Wecoma.

Kites
Lincoln City was named by Kitelines Magazine as one of the best places to fly kites in North America. Kite flying is a family activity available in Lincoln City throughout the year, regardless of the weather, through festivals, kite building workshops and kite flying lessons. The Historic Delake School is now home to the Lincoln City Cultural Center, a center for learning, with gallery exhibitions, dance and musical performances, poetry readings, film festivals, and other entertainment for all members of the family.

"Antiquing" is a very popular in Lincoln City. A very short distance from Inn at Wecoma is the wonderful Little Antique Mall with 15,000 square feet of space and over 80 dealers. We are also within walking distance to 101 Inspirations and the Rocking Horse Antique Mall in the Oceanlake area of Lincoln City.

Gardens
Constance P. Hansen, a well-known member of the regional horticultural community, moved to Lincoln City in 1973. She developed her acre plot with her own hybrid and exotic plants, creating an oasis of blooms, ponds and trees.

Surfing
Surf's always up in Lincoln City! Lincoln City has several surf shops where you can buy or rent surf gear and accessories. We are home to 7 miles of pristine beaches with several fantastic surfing locations. Lincoln City is now home to the annual Behemoth Nelscott Reef Tow In Classic.

Skate Boarding
The Inn at Wecoma is located within skating distance of the "The Gnarliest Skate park in the World" (Thrasher Magazine Dec. 1999). The park has four bowls including a one-of-a-kind "Cradle"… It has to be seen to be believed!

Shopping
Located two miles south of the Inn at Wecoma is Tanger Outlet Center, where you can shop and buy direct from over 65 brand-name manufacturers and designer-outlet stores. Located within walking distance is the Oceanlake area of Lincoln City, which offers many classic coastal gift shops, antiques, pet supplies, books and more.

Movies
Lincoln City has two movie theatres. The Coming Attractions Six screen is located three miles south from our hotel and the historic Bijou Movie Theatre, is about ½ mile from the property. Or if live performance is more your liking, Theatre West offers A variety of live stage performances.

Whale Watching
Whale watching is a local favorite activity. To get an up-close view venture eight miles south of Lincoln City to charming Depoe Bay, "The whale watching capital of the world." through Tradewind Charters.

Casino
Half a mile away from Inn at Wecoma is the popular Chinook Winds Casino where you can try your luck or see headline big-name celebrities perform. Chinook Winds even has a Shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off from The Coho.

Devil's Lake
Named by the Indians that used to inhabit this area, due to unexplained sea creature sightings, Devil's Lake beckons fishermen, water skiers, swimmers and boaters. Devil's Lake connects to the Pacific Ocean by the D River, which is the shortest river in the world at 120 feet. |

Museum & Library
The North Lincoln County Museum features more than 2,000 items from large pieces of machinery to small household articles depicting the life in and around Lincoln City. Another popular local gathering place is the Driftwood Public Library.

Lighthouses
Located on the north end of Newport the Yaquina Head lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse on the Oregon coast at 93 feet. Located on the south side of Newport the Yaquina Bay lighthouse is the second oldest standing structure on the Oregon Coast.

Family Activities
Located a short distance from Inn at Wecoma are the All American Putt and Bat indoor miniature golf and batting cages. Other local family activities includes Delake Bowling Alley, Regatta Grounds Park, the Lincoln City Community Center Swimming Pool, Geocaching, and the Chinook Winds Video Arcade.
